Privacy Policy

Divorce is one of the most private things a person goes through. We built DivorcePlan.ai with that in mind. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

Account information: your email address and display name. Conversation content: what you share in your sessions, which is used to build your kit and maintain continuity between sessions. Payment: processed entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. Usage analytics: product analytics via PostHog to understand how the service is used.

How we use it

To run the service: generate your conversations and kit, remember your context between sessions, deliver your documents, and provide support. That's it.

AI processing

Conversations are processed by OpenAI's API to generate responses and kit content. We do not use your conversations to train AI models, and our API providers are contractually restricted from doing so with API data.

Who we share with

Only the service providers that run the product: Supabase (database and authentication), OpenAI (AI processing), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and PostHog (analytics). We never sell your information, and we never share it with attorneys, insurers, or any other party without your explicit request.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active so your kit and history remain available to you. Email support@divorceplan.ai from your account email to request deletion of your account and associated data, and we will process it promptly.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, stored with row-level access controls, and accessible only to your authenticated account.
